Obsession and delusion! Alohaii's 'Magazines' is a sickening sweet track that every self conscious and love-struck teenager can relate to. This music video combines illustration, 2D animation, graphic design, typography, and character rigging to create, in the most loving way, a hot mess of teenage hormones and false dreams sold by fashion magazines at the bottom of the Coles aisle.
Various fake magazine covers and stickers were designed with an eyeblinding colour palette to recreate the Y2K aesthetic to the max.
