Direction and motion design for Unnämed's official collaboration with miHoYo's 2026 HoYoFair event.
HoYoFair is miHoYo's annual community event created to celebrate fan works for their list of HoYoverse games, including Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, Honkai Impact 3rd, and Zenless Zone Zero. Unnämed was sponsored by miHoYo to create an original song for Sunna, Zenless Zone Zero's ditzy yet loveable idol and composer of idol group, 'Angels of Delusion'.
Liasing with a huge team of Unnämed, multiple managers, an illustrator, 2D animator, choreographer, producer, and an assistant motion designer, we created a bright, bubbly video fitting for only the cutest of all video game characters!
I created a variety of assets and treated the monochrome illustrations with a singular colour palette, so that the variety of assets provided by my client can all exist cohesively in a single, crazy fast paced video.
Plenty of research into Zenless Zone Zero and Sunna's universe was conducted so that Flavie and I were consistent between our work and so that we were doing justice to the lore of the video game.
