The uncertainty of budding love and fear of loneliness backed by perfect hyperpop sound design is what Miyolophone asked me to visualise for this music video. With no restrictions or direction on the visual design from the client side, the freedom resulted in a chaotic combination of internet subculture and kaomojis that begs for the top spot on your Spotify Wrapped this year.
The Great Gatsby sample in the start and end of the track has its own visual identity. A bright green light and a giant eye that bears through the viewer's soul; inescapable and consuming. This scene periodically appears through the body of the music video as an omnipresent reminder the core message of the track.
